Raw slabs are supplied by a vast network of wholesalers throughout Europe. Many offer huge selections of materials in varying slab sizes and thickness. The slab sizes are governed by the block dimensions, whereas some materials can be as large as 3,2 x 1,5 m others can be as small as 2,5 x 1,2 m.

The thickness of the slabs stocked varies by companies. However the most popular thicknesses, 2cm, 3cm, 4cm, are stocked by all of the wholesalers. Larger ones are more difficult to procure, however, there are many suppliers that specialise in the thicker materials. When purchasing slabs it is important that the slabs are from the same block.
