On Marmomacc 2009 the Vulkan Inox GmbH from Hattingen (Germany) and the Abrasive Technology Srl. from Novi Ligure (Italy) present stainless steel shot and grit in Hall 2, Stand F5.

The steel abrasives, CHRONITAL and GRITTAL are suited for the processing of natural stone-surfaces, first of all, because they are stainless. They can be used in air-pressure powered as well as in turbine blast systems.
CHRONITAL and GRITTAL fulfil all requirements that are demanded from an efficient blasting medium in addition to having the advantage of being a rustproof method.

GRITTAL, the stainless steel grit, is hardened, crushed and especially suitable for cutting without lime supplement, in gang saws on clear, damage-prone stone materials like marble, limestone etc. GRITTAL is also a cost effective, efficient alternative to mineral grit blast media, says the producer.
